Hello everyone,
I have set up a report that takes the data from a SharePoint List and displays a product specification.
I am now being asked to integrate pictures on this report but have encountered an issue.
The pictures I have linked are not displaying.
When I check on Table View, the column for the pictures don't show a URL. It only says [Record].
Is there a way to display the pictures have linked on the SharePoint List?
Solved! Go to Solution.
You need to expand out the record to get the image URL in Power Query. There's a double arrow icon next to the column header. They won't display in desktop (it'll be a broken image icon), but should when you publish to the web app. Make sure to set the category on the field to image url.
I haven't had the best luck with displaying images from SharePoint generally, though, especially if you have a lot - there's some sort of throttling limit when they're loaded simultaneously that doesn't always present right away.
