I'm using the Desktop version and have imported a number of XML files.
The XML files are updated weekly. Is it possible to link to the source file for real time data?

Hi @Newbie1234 ,
DirectQuery is supported only for SQL databases or when connecting to an existing Power BI dataset through Direct Query. In Power BI Service, you can schedule a dataset refresh (requires Pro license). You may need to you use a Power BI Gateway if your data source is on-premise (not stored in the cloud).
Hi @Newbie1234 ,
By realtime you mean the report updates as the data source does? You'll need a streaming dataset or direct query for that.

Thank you. DirectQuery seems to be what I'm looking for, but unfortunately it seems it doesn't support XML files. Just wondering if there's any other way to update the data from the XMLs regularly?
