Link to an Excel File with loading in the local Excel system

thank you for your reponse.

I have activated now the setting to open all files in the client application. 

When I open now the file from the Sharepoint directly, it opens in the Client Application, so the setting should work. 

But I have still the problem with the link:

When the link looks like this:

https://..../Shared%20Documents/General/Test.xlsb

PowerBI download the file

When the link looks like this:

https://..../Shared%20Documents/General/Test.xlsb?web=1

PowerBI loaded the file from Sharepoint but in the Browser, even with the new setting

Can I add something to the link, that the file will be open from the client applicaiton and not from the browser

like "?Client=1" ?
