Line graph only allows one measure

Can you please show us your measures and what you are trying to do with them?

1. Adding Measures to a Line Chart:

To add multiple measures to a line chart in Power BI:

• Ensure that you are dragging your measures into the Values field well of the line chart.
• If you want to display several lines (each representing a different measure), you should place each measure in the Values field well of the same line chart visual.

If you’re unable to do this, check if there’s something specific in your current setup that might be preventing it, such as:

• The chart type is accidentally changed to one that supports only a single value (like a single line or area chart).
• The data structure or measure relationships might have changed, impacting how measures interact within the visual.

1. Using Combo Charts:

If you need to use multiple measures but face issues with a line chart, consider using a Combo Chart (Line and Stacked/Clustered Column Chart). This type of chart allows you to plot measures as both columns and lines within the same visual, providing more flexibility.

1. Check for Visual Interaction or Filters:

If there are page-level filters, visual-level filters, or slicers that might be interfering with the measures being plotted together, they could affect how your measures appear on the chart.

1. Considerations with Complex Measures:

If your measures involve complex calculations or use of dynamic parameters, ensure that there are no conflicts in how they interact when plotted together. Sometimes, a measure might not render properly on a line chart if it’s dependent on conditions not met when combined with other measures.
