Line chart for time resolved data extends x axis to whole year

Hi there,
I have data from a 3 month period, from which I calculate several measures to be displayed in one line chart. When plotting values over time x axis is cut correctly from period begin and cut at period end.
When adding calculated measures (average, sddev, ...) the x axis scale is extended to the whole year. If the periode is running over two years, even both years are put on the x axis, forcing to massive scrolling to the right period in the diagram.

Any ideas how to solve?

thanks and regards,

Jens

Hi,

Ensure that the Calendar Table only goes uptil the farthest date available in the Date column of the Fact table.  To the X axis of your visual, drag Date from the Calendar Table.

change your measures to produce a BLANK() result for the intervals you want to exclude.

INterestingly I create resuclts based on following DAX

o_WS = CALCULATE(MAX(Abfrage1[UMS]),ALLSELECTED(Abfrage1))

This limits the range for calcuation, but obviously not for displaying in the chart. When looking to my chart data in table format, it creates values from above DAX formular for time stamps which are not even included in the basic data set(basically SQL query).
