Just incase anyone is looking at this now (in 2023) the option is still under the Further Analyses tab, just looks a bit different now.

Hi @Anonymous ,

I habe built a data sample to help you understand:

  • If you want show the label for Line chart value, just enable Data label option or drag it to Tooltips pane:

average.PNG

  • If you want to show lables of Average Line in Analytics tabs, you need create a average measure , enable Data lable option and it will only a single value —— 7.7=(10+7.5+5.6)/3
average of each month = CALCULATE(AVERAGE(Table3[Value]),ALLEXCEPT(Table3,Table3[Date].[Year],Table3[Date].[Month]))

On the Analytics Tab, go down on the Average line you created and you will find an option to turn on Labels

@Fowmy The label which is giving one average value either left or right. I have line chart where the average value should show for every month.

@Anonymous

I think you have created a measure to calculate the Average, in that case, select the visual and go to properties (paint brush) sign and turn on Data Lables.

if this doesn't work, please share a screenshot of your visual
