Hi everyone,
I'm new to Power BI. I would like to create a line chart which updates daily (x-axis is the date) based on sharepoint file which updates daily. I am able to connect to the data source and plot line chart based on that, how do I get it updated daily while remaining the previous data? Below is example fo chart I would like to have.
This is what I would like to achieve
Hi @Anonymous ,
Check the document below about scheduled refresh in Power BI.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/refresh-scheduled-refresh.
However the data will be replaced after you refresh the data.

Well, you schedule a refresh in the Service to have it refresh automatically. However, Power BI does a full import and replacement of the data each time. If you SharePoint list maintains all of the data, that's fine. If it doesn't, well that's a problem.
I've configured the schduled refresh but all it does it show me the latest data. My sharepoint doesnt maintain previous data, so i'm guessing I need to find a way to store the previous data and link it to power bi. Is there any exmaple showing how this is done?

Hi @Anonymous ,
Thanks for the input but I don't think that solution is suitable in my case as my dataset is refreshed daily. Is there any way to automate it instead of doing it manually?
