Line and Stacked Columns Chart for Discontinuous Datetime Table

I have a discontinuous datetime table, which there are datapoints from 7:42 - 8:06 am and the other points at 19:42 - 21:15 pm, as shown below. I want to develop two charts; the first is line (X variable) and stacked columns (Y variable) chart and the second is dot and stacked columns chart, as the image below. I tried using categorical time, but it only shows the times existing in the data in ascending or descending order, where 8:06 am be right next to 19:42 pm.

I was able to develop the charts in Tableau. Is there a way to develop the charts in Power Bi?

Hi, @Doa

Sorry I can't fix it on my side currently. It's hard to set the interval .

I tried many other visuals  from marketplace, but none of them achieved the excepted effect.

You can continue to try other visuals from marketplace.

And you also can come up with a new idea and add your comments there to make this feature coming sooner. https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas

Hi,

Thank you @v-easonf-msft for your time and effort. I will try if I can find a way around it, maybe creating time data and use it to develop the charts.

Hello @v-easonf-msft

I could not solve the issue the way I wanted. I was only able to develp the following chart that look like bar chart by creating a time table and  with using the a measure Y = sum(x) + 0.
