Line and Stacked Column Chart with Column Legend doesn't show data labels

Hello,

I am new to Power Bi and have only been working in it for a handful of months.

I created a Line and Stacked Column chart that uses a Column Legend. When I added the Column Legend, the data labels I had on the columns disappeared.

The values I want to display still exist but I would like them to be shown as labels on the graph so I won't need to hover over the graph to view the values. Data Labels are enabled for all series. My first thought was maybe the numbers would be too small so by default they would not show. When I attempt to slice this chart however the data labels still don't return.

My ideal is to be able to select an element in a table that mirrors the graph and have the values from the table be highlighted in the graph. This works so long as there is no column legend (shown in second picture)

I appreciate any feedback/ideas/tutorial links. Part of me wonders if there is a setting somewhere that needs ot be toggled

It's likely a spacing issue. I was able to get it to work:

You need to make sure the data labels are turned on for All series.

Unfortunately, Data Labels are enabled for all series.
I did find out my total labels were disabled, I re-enabled them and got those labels to work. However I still can't see the labels when I select elements. Like so. It may very well be a spacing issue.

It looks like your data label position setting is set to "outside end." Change it to "Auto"

These are my settings at present, I did try tweaking the position (line) and orientaiton(column) none seemed to add the labels I needed.
It's worth mentioning that, to select the data I'm using a table as I want to be able to view the subset of data against the total (like in the first picture where there was no column legend.

Finally, "outside end" doesn't seem to be an option in the dropdown menu. Only "inside end", "inside center", and "inside base". Could this be a sign of a versioning issue?

Edit:
As soon as I removed the column legend then attempted to select with the table, everything worked exactly as I intended. Even though the column legend and table select were using the same field.
