Hi Team,

I have this line chart with last and current year sales , but it is not letting me to add legend

I know we can add slicer for category but would like to check if i can add category as well to line chart

Can anyone help me on this

Hi @Anonymous ,

Current power bi does not allow you to use legends and multiple value fields at the same time.
If your table store values in multiple fields (e.g. id, year 1 value, year 2 value...), you can enter to 'query editor' and do 'unpivoted columns' to convert these fields to 'attribute' and 'value'.

Unpivot columns (Power Query)
After these steps, you can modify your visuals with the original category to axis, 'attribute' on legend and 'value' on value fields.
