Line Chart interaction with Slicer - FY Vs Previous Years
Super UserDoing this would mean I lose the previous Years, so I removed the interaction between the Slicer Visual and the Line Chart.Instead of removing the interaction you should use a disconnected table to feed your slicer.

Create a (calculated) table with the current FY dates. In a hierarchy if you must. Point your slicer to that table.
In your main visual use a measure to probe the selected value(s) of the slicer and render the lines accordingly.
