Hi All,
I have an issue with the Line Chart visualization when a few data points are shown. When using continuous Dates as the x-axis and there are fewer than 4 or 5 data points Power BI starts adding time to the axis and fills in with axis points where there is no data. See the below example.
As can be seen bellow for the same chart if the date range is short Power BI start adding 12AM and 12PM to the x-axis.
Is there any way to fix this?

Unfortunately the column formatting is ignored for continuous type x axis scenarios. You could consider it a bug, but it may just be a design decision.

What is your expected result?
Hi @lbendlin ,
The expected result would be that the date format in the x-axis is maintained as date only, that 12AM and 12PM not be added and that albums with the same date not be repeated.
In the example I sent the left line chart would show on the x-axis only "Jan 1", "Jan 2","Jan 3", "Jan 4", and "Jan 5".
I would mean fewer labels for the x-axis but the visualization would maintain the date format.

Hi @lbendlin ,
I added the idea to the Ideas list for Power BI.
