Line Chart Skipping Month

We have a report and want to know how do we get this line chart to not skip every other month like it is presently doing? The x-axis settings are set to continuous. We can't change it to categorical because there is another drill down into individual dates that we don't want to show but we want the individual points like this graph shows without being sloppy.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
