Limit the result dataset
Hi Everyone,
I have following postgreSQL -
select
Name,
RollNumber,
Address,
ContanctNo,
Standard,
YearOfJoining,
from student
where YearOfJoining='?'
and Standard='?'
order by markes desc limit 5
I need to show Name,RollNumber,Address,ContanctNo,Standard,YearOfJoining on table visual.
1) To do so I have imported the student from postGreSQL db and applied order by desc on markes column by applying transformation.
2) Now on top of ordered data (student table) , i have created slicer for YearOfJoining and Standard column.
3) After selecting desired value in slicer (YearOfJoining=2021 and Standard =12), i am getting too many rows in table visual , and now I have to select only 5 records.
I am not able to find any way so that I can filter only 5 records in final table visual.
NOTE : markes value is NULL as of now.
Please help.

Hi YAmit9012 ,
You want to filter the top five records by sorting, right?
You can try to use TOP N filter.
