Like for Like filter based on YEAR

Hi,

I have a report where I can  filter out on YEAR - MONTH - WEEK and DAY. 

 

From 2015 and until now, we have opened many stores each year, so benchmarking 2018 vs 2017 will not be correct since we are not calculating like for like (the same amount of stores fiscal year vs the same amount of stores last year).

 

Is there anyone that can point in me the direction?

 

Im thinking of:

 

If YEAR = 2016, Month = December, Day = <15, then select STORE x,y,z 

and so on.

    Could you post your table structures with some sample/mock data and the expected result, so that we can better assist on this issue? It's better to just share a dummy pbix file. You can upload it to OneDrive or Dropbox and post the link here. Do mask sensitive data before uploading. :smileyhappy:
