https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-US/product/power-bi-visuals/truvizinc1674781244292.date-picker-by...
I asked my manager for a license so that the visual could be used on the powerbi service. They have given me a Microsoft PowerBI Custom Visual File (.pbiviz). i have imported it in the desktop and have published it on the service as well but its still asking for license. They have purchased the visual. Do i still need key or anything else?
Thanks

Since your manager has purchased the visual, you might need to ensure that the license is properly assigned to your account. Here are a few steps you can follow:
Assign the License: Make sure the license for the visual is assigned to your user account in the Microsoft 365 admin center. Your admin can do this by going to the Users > Active users page, selecting your user, and then assi...1.
Refresh the Session: After the license is assigned, it can take up to an hour for the license to be recognized. Refresh your Power BI session by restarting Power BI Desktop or refreshing your web browser2.
Check for License Key: Some visuals might require a license key to be entered. Check the documentation for the visual on AppSource to see if a key is needed and how to enter it2.
Contact Support: If the issue persists, you might want to contact the support team for the visual. They can provide specific guidance and help troubleshoot any issues.
By following these steps, you should be able to get the visual working on Power BI Service. If you need further assistance, feel free to ask!
