License problem; Free/viewer vs Pro licens
Hi,
I have always been in belief that you could develop a report and share it with a 'free/viewer' licens, if I only used the bacis in reportbuilding - but even with a very simple report(a table with SQL connection), the user is needed to have a pro licens attached to the account.
Is there anyone who can tell me what is posssible with free vs pro licens - is it possible to build a report, which a free/viewer licens can see/use?
Best regards,
Jeppe

There are 3 options for "free" viewers to access reports:
1) If you have a Premium license
2) If you use the publish to web option and share the link. The caveat in this case is that the report is totally public and accessible to the whole WWW
3) Send them (or share in shared folder) the PBIX file, in which case you lose control of the data and content.
BTW, if your report viewers have an E5 (I think it it this one) Office license, then the Power BI pro license is included at no extra cost.
