Licences question

Im looking to integrate the use of Power BI dashboard into the package we provide to our clients. We are a 10 person startup and handle large amounts of data.

Here are a few of the scenario’s I see that could be attainable for our business. My concerns arise from a couple of the applications being possible to perform without additional licenses (we have office 365 at the moment), however since we are a company and would provide power bi capabilities to our clients with a commercial purpose, I would like to make sure.

  1. The first scenario is where, our company would create the various dashboards and reports for our client in addition to the other services we porvide within our environment. These would be created by our developers and the complete pbix file and a short documentation would be provided to the client to upload and interact within their “own” power bi setup.
  2. Alternatively, we could build the dashboards/reports within our own power bi workspace, and share viewing access to our clients. As I’ve understood from documentation, sharing view only access by link does not recquire additional  licences.
  3. Lastly, one idea I have been playing around with, but would be for a further time down the line, would be embedding. I understand that a different licence is needed here, however I would like to explore the pricing and limitations of embedding power bi graphs and tiles into our environment.
