I'm not sure what this is called so my searches have been coming up dry. This feature when clicking a single value of a legend from one graph a sort of filter is superimposed onto other graphs while still retaining the base data.
Is there any way to replicate this as a slicer?
Hi, @Ryan_S
Thanks for the reply from ryan_mayu and Irwan. As they say, the current version of Slicer doesn't support the functionality you describe; when any value is selected, only that data will appear in the visual object, and the rest of the data will be omitted. You can submit an idea for here and the product team will take note of such a need.

I don't think the slicer can do the same. However, you can try to use slicer + conditional formatting to highlight those data that you selected.
Apply conditional table formatting in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
Hope this is helpful.

hello @Ryan_S
i think this happens because you select a data from another visual then it is also filtering your above column chart.
the bold green shows your selected data from another visual.
i think you can create a slicer with the slicer value same as your selected value above.
after being sliced by slicer, it should only show the bold green.
Hope this will help.
Thank you.
