Hi!
I have a line and column chart that had a default color of dark green for the columns and light teal for the line. Now I have to change it to different shades of blue. The bars and lines change colors but the legend is still stuck with dark green for the bar. It, however, reflects the new blue for the line.
The only thing I can think of is that the bar is based on conditional formatting. If I remove the conditional formatting and assign a default color for the bar then the legend updates accordingly. But I need the conditional formatting. Could someone please help me how to get around this issue? Thank you.
This is an old post, but I have a similar situation in this case. What I did was change the chart to a clustered bar chart and then revert to the one that I'm using: a "Line and clustered columns chart."
@freebird28 I enocuntered the same issue as you. Did you find a solution for your problem?
@BS123456789 this was a year ago but no, I don't think I got a solution. If I remember right, I simply masked the 'wrong' color with the 'right' one.
Hi @freebird28 ,
Notes that the conditional formatting is only available for tables or matrixes.
As a workaround, you can change the colors of bars under "Format your visual" manually.

Doesn't work. After a year and stil lthe same issue happen.
Thank you for your response @Anonymous . This is a line and column chart. And the bar colors should automatically update based on my "rules" shown in my earlier post. For now, since I don't think it is possible to do in this type of chart and it is just one color, I have used a 'blue' shape to hide the default green shown in the visual. Thanks.
