Legend Collapsing Issue in Line and Clustered Column Chart

Hello,

I am encountering an issue with the Line and Clustered Column Chart visual in Power BI. The legend is collapsing by default, even though there is plenty of space to display it fully. Only when I click on the legend does it expand and show all the items.

This is causing usability issues, as I would like the legend to be fully visible without needing to interact with it first. Is there a way to prevent the legend from collapsing and ensure it is always fully displayed?

Any help or guidance on resolving this would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

  • Ensure that the chart is adequately sized on the report canvas. Sometimes, a larger visual can help display the legend more effectively.

    Turn Responsive setting off

Hi @MagdaS

Two things I would try:

1. Turn off Responsive in advanced options of the properties.

2. Turn off Responsive. Duplicate the viz. Turn off the legend in the original. Resize the duplicate so only the legend is visible. Re-arrange the two visuals so they look like one.
