Learner Alert! Relationships and Measures
Hi VijayP
Thanks for taking the time to look at this. Unfortunately this is not quite what I need. If you refer to my original file, you will see the pie chart I have created for Attendance Band report YTD with the %Attendance measures.
If I select a single ID from student list, then this pie chart filters correctly.
If I try the reverse, ie selet 0-95% select of the pie chart, then I wanted it to filter the Student List to just show the IDs for those where the measure data reflects that. As you can see this does not work:
As the Attendance Band Report YTD, the measures (and all other visuals) are being filtered by the slicer for the Term (from Date table), I think the fact that there is no relationship between the students and the Date table that is causing the issue.
So I either need to find some way of setting up the relationship or by changing the way I am doing the calculations to count how many students fall into each attendance band group.
Hope that makes sense!

I think I have now got some clarity. Let me work on it and share the solution with you! thanks for patience as there was delay in revert!

One important you need to note. There is no Legend (distributor of values) in the Pie Chart. That is why you are getting filtered the list of values. Need to add a legend to see the filter

Each of the values in the pie is an individual measure, there is no legend that would make work. These measures are all reacting to other visuals and slicer correctly. But I need to be able to get each measure within the pie chart to filter each visual (eg student list).
