One more question, our site uses a "safety cross" Safety Cross to display injuries or a lack thereof on a daily basis. Has anyone seen something similar done within Power BI?

There's no such kind of model or visual in power bi? You may find some similar visual in power bi custom visual market. https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/marketplace/apps?product=power-bi-visuals
