Layout (Views / Perspectives ) disappear when you save, close and reopen the file

[Bug]
When you create new layout (view/perspective) of the model and save and reopen the file - The new layout shows as blank

Version 2.98.683.0 64-bit (October, 2021)

Kindly fix this - It is effecting existing reports as well not just new reports

Hi @sam_xlpowerbi ,

After the October 2021 update the model view is messed up, we have the same issue (ICM:266775875).

The PG team is still working on fix it.

Workaround is to open desktop first, then to use File > Open to open the pbix - rather than double-clicking on the pbix.

I will keep you updated if there are any progress on this issue.

Hope it helps,

Hi @sam_xlpowerbi ,

I'm on the same version and I'm not abble to replicate your issue, however this type of things should be repported on the issues part of the forum so that the MSFT team get's back to you.
