Latsest date - Opening Power BI Service

Hello, I need some help.

I have a date slicer in my report, that goes up to yesterday. By Excluding today in the filter. See below:

I would like when I open the report in Power BI service, that it opens on yesterday as the max date of my date slicer. Not the date I left the report the last time I opened it.

Can somebody help me?

Hi @EsmeeSnijders ,,

I have created a simple sample, please refer to it to see if it helps you.

Create a measure.

Measure = var _1= TODAY()-1
return
IF(MAX('Table'[Date])=_1,1,BLANK())

Solved: Setting default date slicer to yesterday - Microsoft Fabric Community

1. Create a slicer with your date column.
2. At the right top of the slicer, choose Relative as slicertype.
3. Now you will have 3 items to fill in your slicer, set them like the following: | This | - | Year |
4. Open the Format pane for your slicer and open the Date Range options.
5. Set the toggle for Include today to off.

Hi,

Thank you so much for your reaction.

Indeed this works to get the date filter to go up to yesterday.

What i want, is that when I open the report in Power BI service, the report opens at the last available date in the date filter.

For example: I leave the report unopened for a couple of days. Let's say 2023.07.21 was the last date I opened the report. Which means the datefilter was on 2023.07.20 (Yesterday).

When I reopen the report on 2023.07.30, I want the date slicer to open on 2023.07.29, not the 2023.07.20 I left it at the last time i opened it.

I hope this is a clear example.

Thank you in advance.
