Latest period filter
Hi all,
I have a report showing weekly sales data.
In the fact data table I have information about the customer, amount, and a week identifier (in text format, e.g., 2025-04).
The week is also added to a filter at the top of the page, allowing users to select which week to display.
I would like to ask if there is a way to set it so that the most recent week is always shown by default unless a user selects a different one?

Based on the testing, creating the new measure to filter the recent week.
Recent Week = var _week = SELECTEDVALUE('Fact Table'[week identifier]) var _latest = CALCULATE(MAX('Fact Table'[week identifier]), ALLEXCEPT('Fact Table', 'Fact Table'[week identifier])) RETURN IF(_latest = _week, 1, 0)Then, drag the measure to the table visual and set the show item is 1.
Besides, select the week slicer is shown below.
