Latest file for each month

How can i get latest file for each month from a folder?

 

I have reports generated on a daily basis but need to extract only the latest file for each month for a requirement.

 

Reports are saved as below - 

 

Rpt_abc_17.02.2021

Rpt_abc_16.02.2021

Rpt_abc_16.01.2021

Rpt_abc_17.01.2021

 

How can i get only the last file saved for each month?
