Latest date per item

I have a list of numbers (ic. casenumbers) per casenumber several hearing have been planned on mulitple dates. I would like to show the last hearing date in a table. For example of the below list:

CasenumberHearing date
CUR2017012004-5-2017
CUR2017012018-5-2017
CUR2018000478-8-2018
CUR2018006966-8-2018
CUR2018011646-8-2018
CUR2018011658-9-2018
CUR2017012018-10-2018
CUR2018000479-9-2019

the table should show a a column with non identical casenumbers and the latest hearing date. Like case number CUR20180047 : 9-9-2018.

  • Steg add the following measure, change column and table name as per your model.

    Max Date =
    CALCULATE ( MAX ( Table[Date] ), ALLEXCEPT ( Table, Table[Case Number] ) )

I would ❤ Kudos if my solution helped. 👉 If you can spend time posting the question, you can also make efforts to give Kudos whoever helped to solve your problem. It is a token of appreciation!

The thing is, if I use your formula, I get a column with only one date, the last date registerd in the column Hearing date (in my example eg. 9-9-2019). What i need is a measure that results in a table like this (based on the example):

      CUR2017012004-5-2017
      CUR2018006966-8-2018
      CUR2018011646-8-2018
      CUR2018011658-9-2018
      CUR2017012018-10-2018
      CUR2018000479-9-2019
