Last Year plus 1 Day
I have a visual of data weekly (week start date Monday). I can compare to same period last year but of course the weekdays are off.
Is there a way to adjust the last year calculation to account for calendar adjusting by a day:
ie week starting Feb 10, 2020 is a Monday but same period last year week starting Feb 10, 2019 is a Sunday. I need the last year comparison to start Monday Feb 11, 2019
Week year is 364 days behind. If you have date dimension then you can get 364 days behind measure
Week Year behind Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,Week))
As long as you look Day Vs Day and week vs week this will serve the purpose.
To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s.
