Last 7 days visual

Hey All. What would be the appropriate visual maybe in conjunction with Dax to only view the last 7 days worth of data from a current data set?

 

I have date/time fields available in my dataset includin long dates, months, years, quarters

    Use a relative date filter on the visualization?

      I have attempted the relative date slicer before with no luck. I never get the options suggested
