Large sample size on x-axis

I am trying to graph a scatter plot, but I have over 1000 points. When I put the data into Power BI, it will only show 60 data points at a time across the x-axis. Is there a way to hide the x-axis labels such that more than 60 data points could be on the graph at once?

    Hi Anonymous ,

If need to adjust the number of data points whcih show in scatter chart, you can select the related scatter chart, and navigate to the Format section of the Visualizations pane, expand General, and adjust the Data Volume. The default value is 3500, can set the max data volume to any number up to 10,000...

This doesn't seem to be a matter of the number of data points that can be displayed. Because the number of your points only be 1000... Could you please check the fields which you applied to X axis of scatter chart . If this field was summarized , it leads to the number of displayed points is reduced ? Also check the field which was added on Details section . This field must be unique for each point you want to plot .

    Best Regards

My apologies, my data is presented as a scatter plot, but in reality it is a line chart with the markers shown and lines omitted. Is there any way to increase the capacity of the x-axis more than 60?

        Hi Anonymous ,

According to my survey , there is no option to set the number of data points displayed in line chart . Please try to increase the size of the page as a workaround to check if it allows the line chart to display more data points .

1 . Navigate to Page Size section in Visualizations pane

2 . Change type as " Custom " , update the size of Width and Height

        Best Regards
