Lab 2 - Unable to link two tables as table is grey out - please help

Question for Lab 2:

Click on Lab 2 - Starting.pbix file and attempt to perfrom the drag function is not allowed.

i.e. "Drag the Date column on the Sales table to the Date column on the Date table."

I have tried to reinstall the 64 bit access database engine (compatible with my pc), but I am not sure what to do next as it is still not allowing me to drag and drop, what data should I connect with to open pbix file? Currently I did not connect to any data source and I am not sure which one to connect?

I notice that the all the table names in the file is grey out. How do I resolve this issue? (See screen below)

table grey out unable to link tables.PNG

Please advcie thanks.

Hi @ayuicyi ,

I tried to replicate the error and was abble to do it normally except when there is already a connection. Looking at the image you have there is already a relationship between the Sales and Calendar table.

Also regarding the table the only onesthat are geyd out are International Sales and Country Population (because they are hidden) however I can still drag and drop from those table and to those tables.

Regards

Miguel Félix
