LASTDATE gives me 31/DEC/2021

Good morning.

Perhaps this will be the dumbest question for this measure.

I have a very simple table with this structure:

I need a card with the latest date.

I've tried MAX, MAXA, LASTDATE and all of them gives me as last date 31/DEC/2021 even when my last date in my table is 12/OCT/2021.

Dates are stored as "Date" in Excel and Power Bi.

@jcarlos Can you just share the Date column data so that we can try at our end? Most probably MAX will help you out but I wonder why you are not getting the right result.

@jcarlos Based on your data provided, I tried with MAX and Format is with "DD-MMM-YYYY" pattern.

Originally the solution didn't work in my model. I've just added an additional Dates Table...and voila!
