Keep colors in filter
Hello,
I need to keep the same schema of colors of a report.
I have a table with pair of air routes, linked by relationships with several additional routes.
Each time I select a different pair the colors of all the graphics change. I need to keep the same colors for any selection from the filter.
Example:
Another selection:
I've tried defining a theme, but it doesn't work.
Thanks,
Luis

Hi, you can apply colours to data series in some of the charts, including bar and column by using the Data Colour by Field. (sometimes in advanced controls, https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/13757925-dynamically-specify-data-colour-using-column-e-g.
Some of the charts do not have this function, (line, stacked area, donut, pie), hence the comments on the above ideas page. However, you can choose colours for each of the values in the series using Data Colours, which will persist even when someone selects a different filter.
If you use a combination of the two techniques you can apply colours to data.
