Keep Visualizations and Fields Pane Collapsed for Desktop

In Power BI Desktop is there a way to keep the Visualizations and Fields Panes collapsed once saved? I looked and just can't find an option for that.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. See Image.

    michaelwy I don't think there is any switch / option to do that. When you open new session it will be expanded by default.

    Hi michaelwy,

     

    I agree with ankitpatira.

    Currently there is no way to keep the Visualizations and Fields Pane Collapsed when opening Power BI Desktop.

    We may consider submitting an idea on this topic, to add some customization options in Power BI Desktop, such as option to allow Power Bi desktop to remember the workstation status.
