Hi everyone,
I have made a measure that is showing a percentage of two decimals, which I set in the Modeling tab (old ribbon style). I included this measure in a KPi card visual with a Target goal (percentage) that has 4 decimals, the percentage is 0,87 which is 0,0087 as a decimal number.
The problem I am having is that I want to display the Goal with those 4 decimals, but when I set the "Value decimal places" in the Indicator tab of the visual, my measure also starts to show 4 decimals, which I don't want. Is there any way I can set my measure to always display 2 decimals? FIXED and ROUND do not help me out here, I know of no other DAX functions to help me.
Anyone have an idea how to solve this? Thanks in advance!

Hi,
I think it is by design that decimal setting in the Indicator tab will influce measures in the visual.

That's the problem here, user mislead users with wrong answers. There is a solution and it is here: Solved: KPI visual - difference decimal placing - Microsoft Power BI Community There should be someone deleting those wrong misleading replies.
There's actually a custom visual with which you can design KPI cards with full flexibility. This video explains how this is done: https://youtu.be/bdhpZkUPVvQ
I hope this helps
Hi,
You can change measure's custom format in Model pane.

Thanks for the replies, but as I said, I already set decimals to 2 in Modeling tab, but when I set the "Value decimal places" in the Indicator tab of the KPI card visual to, for example 4, my measure also starts to show 4 decimals, which I dont want. I do want to show 4 decimals for the target goal, but not for the actual presented value of my measure.
