Hi everyone,
I will be needing to start and finish the PL-400 certification within three weeks. Luckily I work with low-code tooling, model-driven application development, and have knowledge of several programming languages and database structures.
On Wednesday (11/22), I will be starting the first module and begin learning. My employer gives me all the work hours to focus on it and try and achieve this certificate.
My question being: any tips on the most efficient way of achieving this certificate? Simply follow Microsoft's learning paths and work through the modules, or are there additional things that will help me achieve this goal?
I feel three weeks is quite an ambitious goal to be honest but basically I'll have to haha. Just looking to get this certificate the best way possible. Thanks all for replying!

Hi @BenDepp4311
Completing the PL-400 in three weeks is ambitious but feasible with a focused approach! Here’s how to maximize your efficiency:
Microsoft Learning Paths: Start with these as they’re structured to cover the exam objectives. Since you're on a tight timeline, focus on mastering the core concepts in each module instead of delving too deep into every detail.
Practice Labs: Allocate daily time to practice in a sandbox environment, as hands-on experience is essential for PL-400. Focus on tasks like creating custom connectors, working with Dataverse, and implementing custom APIs—areas where experience can help you answer scenario-based questions quickly.
Focus on Key Exam Topics:
Customizations: Understand how to work with solutions, Dataverse schema, and different app types (model-driven and canvas).
APIs: Practice integrating APIs with Dataverse, as well as setting up and configuring custom APIs.
Plugins and Code Components: Familiarize yourself with writing, registering, and debugging plugins, plus working with Power Platform code components.
Power Automate and Power Apps: Know how to set up business process flows, workflows, and automation across Power Platform.
Exam-Specific Prep Materials: After completing the learning paths, use exam prep resources like MeasureUp or Whizlabs for PL-400. These will familiarize you with the exam format and types of questions you can expect.
Exam Blueprint and Summary Notes: Keep a copy of the exam objectives handy to ensure you’re covering each area. Creating summary notes or flashcards for key topics can be a fast review tool.
Time Allocation: With your employer allowing work hours for study, set up a schedule with daily goals. Since you’re aiming to complete it in three weeks, plan to finish each module within a few days, with weekends reserved for intense review and practice tests.
