June Power BI Feature

Hi All,

Is there any reason there is no Power BI Desktop New Update for this month?

Is it because of the new Power BI Premium news?

And regarding the sharing capability. I still don't get it. So if I have done a pbix file from Power BI Desktop, the other user can't open it using the Power BI Desktop? Or this only affects the Power BI Service?

AFAIK, there's nothing special for Power BI desktop. The change since Jun 1st only affect Power BI Service. See more.

As far as I'm aware, it's only the online service that is affected by the new sharing changes.
