June Desktop Version Release - Export Data issues
Just installed June release of Desktop. Connected to data source via analysis services. When exporting a table that has both positive and negative whole numbers, the exported CSV file is treating the negative whole numbers as text. (e.g -2 is exported as '-2). This then creates a column of mixed numeric and text numbers. Not helpful when you're using the extract for other things. Uninstalled June, reinstalled May, and the problem went away.
Anonymous Could you please repost this in the Issues forum here and include as much info as possible, including the specific version you have (there have been at least 3 June versions as they incrementally update after a major release) and the column type format in SSAS for the column you are having an issue? Integer, currency, number, etc.
