June 2024 update - Refresh not happening

Hi All,

After updating Powerbi to Latest June 2024 version, when i click on individual table refresh or click on Refresh button to refresh all the tables, the pop up notification showing refresh status doesnt appear. Unsure if this is a glitch on the update. After seeing some response in google, it was advised to go back to May 2024 update (Which i have done now).

Is there any fix which will be implemented in the June 2024 release to have this issue rectified? please let me know.

Regards,

Yadavagiri

This issue is still happening for me in the  2.130.930.0 release. Have had to revert to May 2024 release again.

Hello @msommerf , and thank you for adding your feedback about this.

Using the same build (2.130.930.0 release), the test results appear normal and as expected:

Would you please copy your latest details over a new Comment on the Issues thread listed below:

Hi All,

Looks like the solution has been implemented in the latest version below. i downloaded and installed. refresh pop up appears now!

Desktop has been updated to 2.130.930.0, please uninstall the original version and install the latest version to see if the problem exists.

Download Microsoft Power BI Desktop from Official Microsoft Download Center

I have the same problem, and the worst thing is that I don't have a copy of the previous version and I'm having to refresh it using power query. How absurd for MS to release a version with this bug.

You can also download previous versions of Power BI Desktop if your organization requires it. We always recommend that you use the most recent version of Power BI Desktop, rather than a previous version. All previous versions have the following limitations:

  • Previous releases of Power BI Desktop are not being serviced - you should always use the most recent release for the latest features and updates.
  • It might not be possible to open files created or saved in newer releases of Power BI Desktop with previous versions of Power BI Desktop.
  • If you receive a warning when loading a report saved in a newer release of Power BI Desktop, then save that report in the previous version, you lose any information related to new features.
  • We only archive the English versions of Power BI Desktop.

Hi @Severofm - please use the previous verisons as below mail, utilize it to download for time being.
