Joining the dots?

Hi,

I'm playing about with Power BI and while I'm making progress I'm struggling a little with knowing what to be searching for to find solutions to my problems.

What I'm trying to achieve is a graph that shows data values over time. However, the data that is being gathered for each project is being gathered on different days.  what I want to achieve is a continuous line through the points for each project rather than just showing points and fragments of joined lines - could anyone point me in the direction of how to achieve this or give me an idea of what I should be searching for on t'internet?

Many thanks

K.

1 ACCEPTED SOLUTION

Fresh eyes this morning.  Found the problem - I hadn't set the data type for my date column to 'Date' - all now working as required.

Cheers

Did I answer your question? If Yes, Give me a Kudo!!!

@Anonymous Thanks for the suggestion but it doesn't seem to work - the issue seems to be that the data is discontinuous...

I've added the sample data I'm using via google drive as suggested by @Greg_Deckler  in that hope that will help. 🙂
