Joining tables - two table to include a third calander table

Hi

wonder if any one can help me with the following:

I had two table Addtionaladdress and Documentitems, which i was able to join fine with DocID and ID, which was fine, I have added a calenader table which i am able to join to addtionaladdress but doesnt appear to be joined to documentitems, which is where the sales figures are held.  Any help would be really appreciated
