Join and Filter Dimension Table

New to PowerBI but couldn't find an answer to this. I have a simple model: a sales fact table joined to a master calendar table by invoice date. I am filtering the fact table to only get 2017 invoice...

Can you check if type for X axis is set to categorical instead of continuous. if this doesn't fix, please share the screen shot.

    Also can you tell how your tables are related, and what is relationship direction, single or both.
