January 2017 - Can't publish from Desktop to Service

Hello Everyone,

 

Is anyone else having trouble publishing an existing dashboard to PBI Service from Desktop?

I am getting the following error message:

I saw this, but I am located in USA not Europe:

UPDATE:

 

Mine will Publish now from Desktopt to Service.

I didn't do anything special besides close PBI Desktop and open it up a few hours later.

Hi @alanhodgson,

 

It it a known issue which power bi team has been fixed at 1/11/2017, you can download the last version of power bi desktop to solve it.

Can you take a look where it is hosted:

 

go to app.powerbi.com, click ? on top right corner, and choose About Power BI, it will show something like this, check what it is?
