Jan 2026 version - Azure maps conditional formatting

We have replicated the behavior you described with Azure Maps conditional formatting in the January 2026 Power BI Desktop release, where existing rules do not persist after reopening the report or publishing it to the service. This appears to be a product issue, not related to report design or the data model.
The issue has been escalated to the product engineering team for further review. Currently, there is no confirmed resolution or timeline, but the team is actively investigating. If you notice this occurring across multiple reports or tenants, please share those details, as they may assist with the investigation. I believe the only solution is for Microsoft to fix this issue (hopefully very soon). Otherwise I am continuing to fix all my Azure Maps manually, which is less than ideal.
