JSON data labels customize series

Hi all,

In scope of my project I need to create a JSON theme in order to customize the data labels (font size, color etc.) for a line and column combo chart. Is there a way to do this only for the line and not the columns using JSON theme?

Thank you in advance.

  • Hi Anonymous ,

    Sorry for that the Power BI cannot change the each label’s theme using JSON file. We can only configure each value theme in Customize Series.

    But use the JSON file we can change the label’s overall theme. The JSON file like this, and you can refer it.

    {
       "name":"LineClusteredColumnComboTemplate",
       "visualStyles":{
          "lineClusteredColumnComboChart":{
             "*":{
                "labels":[
                   {
                      "show":true,
                      "color":{
                         "solid":{
                            "color":"#EEEEEE"
                         }
                      },
                      "labelDisplayUnits":"0",
                      "labelPrecision":1,
                      "labelOrientation":"vertical",
                      "labelPosition":"OutsideEnd",
                      "fontSize":11,
                      "fontFamily":"Courier New",
                      "enableBackground":true,
                      "backgroundColor":{
                         "solid":{
                            "color":"#0928DD"
                         }
                      },
                      "backgroundTransparency":30
                   }
                ],
                "lineStyles":[
                   {
                      "shadeArea":true,
                      "strokeWidth":4,
                      "strokeLineJoin":"bevel",
                      "showMarker":true,
                      "markerShape":"triangle",
                      "markerSize":3,
                      "markerColor":{
                         "solid":{
                            "color":"#448822"
                         }
                      }
                   }
                ]
             }
          }
       }
    }
