It does not create the relationship or give error

Hello

I don't know if it has ever happened to you but when I try to make a relationship between two tables, the screen of the relationship that is going to be created appears, you click accept but without getting an error or anything the relationship does not appear, neither in the list of relationships, nor in the model view...

I have closed the Power BI desktop in case it was that and nothing. I don't see what it can be. Has anyone happened to you?

I attach an image of the relationship I want to make.

Thank you.

The problem comes from the new February 2025 version of power bi desktop. Put on the one for January 2025 and if it gives the error.

Hi,

I have the same issue.

I can create this relationship (R1)

I can create this relationship (R2)

As soon as i want to create R1 or R2 while R1 or R2 is already created, the relationship gets not created with no error message. Is this a bug or is something wrong in my model?

Errors for relationships are not appearing in Feb release. This sounds like not being created as causing ambiguity in the model

Ok thanks. It appears that the bidirectional filter ability of the 1:1 relationships caused ambiguity. I have changed to 1:* relatioinship and set the cross-filter direction to "Single", now it works. 😊

It looks like is a bug in Power BI, I am having the same issue. When I click create, it looks like is doing it but at the end does not establish the relationship or give me an error. This is a big issue...

Been a few forum posts on this.

Try tmdl view to create the relationship. Should at least get the error

I don't know what I have to put to add a relationship from tmdl, in my case I'm trying to put

createOrReplace

relationship f1d34ff7-1f39-2117-6cd0-2d74e8c940
fromColumn: 'PowerBI Geographical Areas'.Code
toColumn: Porveedores_sql.'Country_Region Code'
But I just get an error, the number it puts in relationship I don't know what to put in.

I put in a random tag and created a relationship
