Hi All,
I am using the HTML Content custom visual to allow users to make a phone call (using tel:+1######) from our dashboard. This was working fine a couple of months ago, but when I went in today to change some settings, I noticed that I'm no longer able to click any of the links or images. I'm using the same method described in the below link (albeit using a different custom visual). However, in the link below, I'm getting the same behavior - I'm unable to click any of the links on the dashboard below the video. I've asked others at my company to do the same, and we're all seeing the same behavior.

Is this happening for anyone else? If not, does anyone know how to fix this so we can click the links again?
I'm worried this might be a change with the PowerBI settings behind the scenes. I get this error message when I inspect the page: "Navigation to external protocol blocked by sandbox, because it doesn't contain any of: 'allow-top-navigation-to-custom-protocols', 'allow-top-navigation-by-user-activation', 'allow-top-navigation', or 'allow-popups'. "
Unfortunately, there are some new restrictions for custom visuals. We're working hard to allow this functionality again in the future.
The solution for mailto links is simple: CTRL + click should work. Please give it a go.
For tel links and other protocols, we also have solutions ready but they rely on Azure functions that take care of the redirect.
Hi, is there any update on this? as would love to be able to use the "Tel" feature.
We already have a waiting list for this feature. Please reach out to us via https://bisamurai.com/contact so we can put you on that list.

Best Regards,
Jay
