Issues when publishing a pbix. file

Hello!

For the last couple of weeks I have been regularly published the same dataset to Power BI without any issues.
The pbix. file is 1.45 GB and I have a Premium Account.

However, since the beginning of this week I was not able to publish the dataset even though I did relatively small changes (added a couple of columns, which did not increase the model size considerably.

I get various error types regarding the transport connection: Usually something like an error occurred while attempting to publish power bi unable to read data from the transport connection: the connection was closed

I am with the latest version of Power BI as well so the issue should not stem from there.

Can you please help me on this matter?

Thank you in advance!
Ivan Kostov

Hi @IvanKostov ,

Does this error appear for all reports or only for this report?

If this error appear for all publishing reports, please check if you have VPN turned on that is blocking the process.

What kind of workspace are you trying to publish your report to, My Workspace or AppWorkspace?

Please update your Power BI Desktop version and try again.

I think too large data model may be a reason for your scenario, maybe you can try to cut down you data size and try again.

I have also found a similar post, please refer to it to see if it helps you.

Hi!

The issue is gone. I think after updating my windows and fixed issues with slow internet the publishing functioned again.

Thanks for your support.
