Issues in start date and end date with sum of totals

Good Evening Everyone,
We have the following requirement:
Show the data based on Category for a date range. (Current Month should be between start date and end date).
Show the data in a line graph for the current month and next 5 months. (the 6 months should be between the start date and end date)
The issues we are facing:
For the next 6 months, if there is no data - it should be counted as zero and pointed on the graph - not able to do this. The Graph doesn't even show the month, If at all it shows the month, it doesn't plot the data.
Challenges :
Since this is Category scenario, the engagement will be for months for eg: Jan 2020 to Dec 2020 or May 2020 till Jan 2022, etc. So, we might not get the values for some months.
Queries:
How to handle the Grouping and filtering of the data
How to handle the above mentioned challenge.
Please find the attached screenshot of

Sample data, the calculations till next 6 months(June-Nov) and expected results is attached in this screenshot.
Any help is needed

Advance thanks  to all

HI @Anonymous,

It sounds like a common multiple date field records analytic requirement, you can take a look at below blog 'start date, end date' part if they suitable for your scenario:

Before You Post, Read This

Spoiler

You have a “start date” and an “end date” and are trying to know how many of something you have on all of the dates between your date intervals.

Take a look at these two Quick Measures as probably want something like them.
